Hi All,
I'm Sam, from Ireland.
Many thanks for including me in the group.

I own a 2 Door 1987 G-Wagen, originally a 280 Auto...
I bought it as a restored and converted OM606 and 6-Speed Manual (unfortunately it was a mechanical project in reality... it's a really lovely restoration but the builder got a little lost on engine mounting and correct alignment/spacing to short shaft, plus a few other issues {nothing terminal, but definitely time consuming}).
My plan is to address all the issues and most likely revert to Auto with a 722.6 and stand-alone controller.

I'm new to the G-Wagen world and hopefully you'll be kind enough to share knowledge etc over the coming months... its a part-time project.

Many thanks,
Sam

Hi All,
I'm finally getting into this project.
Engine and transmission are out... ordering bits and preparing to get it rebuilt over the coming weeks.
I'll post some pictures when I figure out how to do so...
Sam.

Hi I am Stuart, thanks for adding me.

I have had a 2016 g350 for about 3 months. Only problems I have had was to have the software updated and the adblue system re-set when an adblue level warning came up and I topped it up and I got the dreaded "only 499 more starts possible"
