Yes - a bit expensive in Singapore - and we are fiercely proud about having the most expensive "normal production" cars in the world.
I will do an introduction on a new thread.
A newbie to this website. But a second time G-Wagon owner.
First was a UK W460 230GE Auto SWB of 1990 vintage. That one stayed in my parent's basement garage in London for a few years - nominally driven by my daughter. This was around 2016. It was a tad rusty. Mechanics are expensive.
Now in 2024 have a LWB 300GD of 1984 vintage. Originally from UK, shipped from UK to Malaysia in 2013. Bought by me in Jan 2024 and now it has an OM603.961 diesel engine (extracted from a 1990's W124) mated to a W124 automatic gearbox.
The game plan is to register this vehicle in Singapore where the cost of a new G -Wagon is North of £500,000. My 40 year old version is a few percentage points of this and looks more authentic.
