Re: Introduce yourself please
Hello All,
Seems I have finally found a group of like-minded people to which I can talk about my progress and challenges on my own w460 280ge automatic conversion to om606a and 722.608...
I'm located in the Netherlands, Limburg. Family with young childeren which basically eats all the time that i have so progress has been pretty slow the last two years. Have been gathering parts for a while and am in the process of fitting the engine at the moment..
I look forward on any advice on my questions. I have noticed not everybody I have talked to on marketplace like areas are that open on tips and trick because of their own commercial interest in this....
Cheers JP

Re: Introduce yourself please
Hi All,
From Brisbane Australia, have been a long time admirer & now owner of a GWagen.
At work, we evaluated the G300 CDI Professional, Cab Chassis 10 years ago - what a Machine!
Now the proud owner of one of these, a 2018 ex-government fire fighting appliance.
There's a lot to learn & enjoy about the G300. Currently fitted with a flat tray, ultimate plan is to fit a tipper body.
We are currently working it hard landscaping, tree clearing, & collecting firewood.
I'm sure to learn from the collective knowledge, might have questions from time to time, but also hope to contribute.
Regards
Roger
Some photos, what it was, how we bought it, & how it currently is.

Re: Introduce yourself please
Good evening everyone. My name is Nicolas and I have a G Wagon 460.333 Wolf 1
the car served in Afghanistan in the period 2001-2010. was demilitarised and flown out to Ghana where i live.
wasnt aware of that in the beginning, but with research and looking at the car i noticed a lot of Military spec evidence. I am restoring it and trying to keep the original look and replace the non original parts like side mirrors and rims.
